GA P55A UD4 Cold Boot Problem

Changed the PSU already. I could RMA the board but quite honestly can't be bothered! If it keeps working its only a gaming machine. If it packs up Ill get a new Mobo.

I hear you mate - well you do have three years warranty so I guess you still have time. :D

Just think you should not have this kind of hassle. But if you are happy then I guess it is your call. :) Enjoy the gaming mate.

I have the USB3 and have a problem with booting/restarting. It wont boot with my wacom tablet connected. Before it wouldnt boot/restart without a usb mouse of some kind now it wont boot with the wacom its very confusing.

The only slight glimmer was that Gigabyte were aware of the problem and that a BIOS update would fix it. Needless to say it didn't. I do suspect a Gigabyte problem but to be fair there aren't exactly thousands of people out there with the same problem as far as I can see.

My UD5 used to do similar, but only when overclocked. Does still from time to time - in fact I suppose it may happen more than I notice as I think I still have auto-start on BSOD enabled, so I just switch on and go away and if it does it, it auto resets and boots fine second time.

Funny it seldom BSODS but it often wants to do a repair which i always skip. I might try enabling auto restart. Usually I disable it because its more useful to see the BSOD if you're troubleshooting. I would worry more but once its up and running it will run all day and game hard overclclocked and everything. League of legends, COD you name it.
