I was doing some investigation into frame drops and wanted to go back to an older overclock. I loaded a profile in the bios and now the Pc won't boot at all.

The fans fire up and then a few seconds later it shuts off. Sometimes it comes on and monitor says 'input dvi' then it shuts off again, then turns back on. It keeps doing this.

I've removed all the ram and put one stick in, unplugged all sata devices and using on board gpu. Removed battery and unplugged psu, tried clear cmos but unsure if I'm doing it correctly, used a screwdriver tip.

I didn't think you could kill a mobo like this?
Apparently it has a backup bios but no idea how that works if that's even the issue.

Any ideas.?

Force it to the backup bios
Turn pc on
Immediately hold down power button until it shuts down
Let go power button
Immediately press power button
Press not hold
Makes it do backup bios
Failing that you make a freedos usb
And use efiflash to flash either bios
Or both bios at same time
