So last night i was playing Skyrm and i heard this big buzz and thought something fell into a system fan. It turns out it was the third and last sticker on the 980 triple fan falling off. :(

First one fell off onto the below add-on card. Second did the same and this last one jammed up the fan on the 980! It must be the heat and glue melting but it goes to show pointless stickers are pointless. Now i have to use lemon to get rid of the left over glue residue and waste time cleaning a mint 980.

Grr Galax, Whoever just leave the fans alone.

They are on the spindles right in the middle of the 3 cooler fans.I heard a racket inside my pc and had a look inside. The top gpu middle fans sticker was 1/2 off and catching on one of the other fans so i took it off. I guess the glue that they are attatched with could not cope with the heat off the bottom card

All 3 on my top GPU have come off now , I emailed galax and they assured me it wasn't a wide spread issue , will redirect them to this thread now

Same here, one flew off and hit the window, sounded like an electric spark **** myself lol.
They are plastic coated and fairly rigid.

Yea get them to read this and say not widespread. You know what rated temps are the stickers designed for? Because what if one fell on a hot card? It could land on the backplate of another GPU and not be noticed.

I had one on my soundcard for a fair bit.

same things happened on my 7950 - the sticker simply melted off - now ive got a bit of sticker on it but nothing else. The rest of the car dis mint. I need to sell it and it had better no affect he value.
