galaxy note 2 august reveal?

Think I'll wait till christmas before upgrading, then will have the new Nexus phones and this (hopefully all with Android 4.2) as well as WP8 to choose from.

Edit: I'm not liking how the old rumours said 5.5" 1680x1050, but the new rumours only way 5.5" :(.

They are gonna have some work cutout to make me move from the Note, quad core is nice but far from essential as of yet. Higher quality audio processor might tempt me as I use it for listening to music quite a bit but not enough to spend that kinda money move from Note to Note 2.

About the only feature (and I can't see it happening) that would make me upgrade is if they found a way that you could still have the 5.3" screen in mobile form but somehow unfold/pull out a 2nd 5.3" screen that integrated seamlessly with the 1st for higher res/screen estate for when your actually using it for something beyond quick mobile use (without having to lug a tablet about).

If they only release it in white and pebble bloody blue I'll be most displeased! I unfortunately you just know it's going to look like an S3 on a 4000 calorie diet. If they keep it more square or at least some other better design though (and black), my HOX is getting dropped like third period French.

Love my note. I'd be interested in the new one but it would have to be pretty special to make me move as I can't imagine what a new one would bring to the table.

Out of contract on sept 2 with my sgs2, planning on grabbing the note1 as it'll have dropped in price and can't see the note2 warranting the higher price!

Since owning an S3 I'm pretty sure it's as big as I'd go in terms of being a usable phone, while the notes look nice they would just be far too big in my hand.

Note: I do have the hands of a manly girl.

I have what I'd consider to be reasonably sized hands and you just cannot operate the Note properly with one hand. It's just not going to happen unless you're very, very big.

If I was in the car a lot for work or something, I'd be seriously tempted, but it just isn't practical.

Comparatively I can handle the HTC One X and Galaxy S III very easily and the Note screen experience isn't that much better.
