Galaxy Note 3 battery problem ?

Hi guys

I've had a Note 3 for about 3 weeks now with no issues. Yesterday I was out and about with the phone in my jeans pocket, which is a tight enough fit, but workable lol.. Anyway, I took the phone out and it was turned off, so i thought it must have got turned off in my pocket by mistake. But the phone would not turn back on, even a battery pull wouldn't bring it back to life. I had to wait until i got home, to connect it to the charger, and it sprung back to life.

Battery level wasnt an issue, as it had only came off the charger before I left the house, and the level was at 94% once it came back to life.

It was fine the rest of Saturday. But then again this afternoon, (Sunday) it just shut off when i was using it.. Had to do the same thing to bring it back to life, then it was only on 5 seconds and it did the same thing!

Ive done a hard reset, wipe etc..

I left it charging, but then after a short while it started turning off, trying to turn on to charge, then turn off again, etc, etc,... stuck in a loop until i removed the charger.

Is this a possible faulty battery ?

So is the battery dieing?

Recently Google play Services was causeing MASSIVE battery drain for me, but i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and its back to perfect

Charge the battery and monitor the drain - where did you buy it?

No, my problem isn't the battery draining, its holding the charge. But its acting like it was a dead battery, when the phone will only turn on again by plugging a charger in.

if its under waranty take it back to samsung and ask for a replacement.
