Galaxy S2 and Note together?

I've realised that on top of my SIM only deal it would only cost a few quid more to get a free Galaxy Note.

Obviously I'll then be tied in for 2 years but since I have no intention of moving this is no problem.

The question is what to get? Nothing really tickles my fancy except the Note.

I'm really happy with the S2 as a phone but is it worth having such a similar device as well?

What do you mean together? Using them both together?

They're essentially the same device aside from the considerably larger and better screen on the Note.

The Galaxy S III should be announced at the start of next month, assuming you don't think the HTC One X looks much good now.

Yes, wondering if it's worth owning both.

I haven't really looked at the HTC as I would regard that as a direct replacement for the S2...which I'm not really looking for because I'm very happy with it.

I'd hold off until we get news of the S3 early next month and then make a decision.

Probably the most sensible thing to do....but I've got an itch for that Note!!!

I went from the S2 to a Note. I would say there is no point having both but the Note felt like a nice upgrade due to the size, sharpness and clarity of text on the screen. After seeing the One X and going by rumours of the S3, I think the Note will keep me happy for many many months yet. I say sell your S2 and get the Note or keep the S2 and wait for the Note 2.
