Hi,
I have noticed recently that my Galaxt S2 sometimes randomly reboots for
no apparent reason , is there any way of working out what is causing this ?

It is just using normal stock firmware.

Thanks in advance

Phone is not getting hot

Dodgy app is what I think it could be also
What I would like is someone who knows something about android
showing me how to narrow down which app it could be

I assume there is some sort of event log on this phone somewhere ?

I also have this problem, but my phone also gets super hot, not been able to find out why. Would like to replace it but its really very random it sounds silly to call CS over it

Getting very hot is not normal and it's not silly to call CS over it.

Phones heat up during charging, making calls, huge data transfer and gaming. Anything roughly outside of these is problem time. The SGS2 screen will be darker when it's hotter - the device turns the screen brightness down to cool it off.

Anyone got any ideas on how to track this problem down

Come on OCukers , there is a phone Genius lurking somewhere , please help me

Manually uninstall all your apps and see if that works. If not, back up your data and do a factory reset.

Mine reboots randomly now and then, but it only happens once a month or so, and I'm running a custom ROM.

mine did it a lot. Factory reset it and run it without any apps for a few days, if that doesn't work send it back

mine stopped doing it after a hard reset and update to 2.3.4

was usually once a day.

what you could also try is to connect it to computer and run an error scan on the usb and sd storage
