Galaxy S4 Mini - Wifi constantly disconnecting and reconnecting.

Ok guys, I'm having problems with WiFi staying connected on my Galaxy S4 Mini. It will connect to the WiFi without issue however after a few minutes, it will disconnect and then re-connect more or less straight away. This is annoying because I have apps like Skype running and it causes them to disconnect.

Things I've tried so far:
Changing routers. I went from the Sky Sagecom router to the Sky Hub which gives the exact same result.

I've updated the phones firmware and even tried a custom ROM which gives the same result.

I've used WiFi analyzer to find the best WiFi channel however this hasn't fixed anything.

All other devices connect to the WiFi without issues. It can't be a defective phone because I've had one swapped out which had the same issue.

Can anyone please help me resolve this?

Turn off auto network switch in adv wifi settings.

I think it could be the wifi signal because it drops so much... It'll go to a weak signal and then suddenly jump to strong...

You don't mean in sleep mode do you? So when you wake the phone it's on 2g. 3g etc There is an option to stop it disabling wifi in sleep mode that you can turn off.

Nope, the setting is on to keep wifi on during sleep.

If I go right next to the router I get full WiFi with no disconnects but if I go to another part of my house its really unstable. Its weird because all of my other wifi devices work fine noatter which part of the house I'm in. I am using a Sky Hub. Maybe I just need to get a better router ?
