Galaxy s4 network issue

Hi
I just bought a sim free galaxy s4 and it works with other sims but when I put a three sim it recognise it then say no service is this because of the phone or settings

Is it a UK SIM free S4? What other networks did you try?

Yeah it is and have tried vodafone and o2

Have you tried the SIM in another phone just to rule out that it's not poor signal in your area?

yep tried it in another s3 and s4 and works fine

Could try putting APN in manually see if that works, if it doesn't just take it back and swap for another.
