Galaxy S5 NFC not functioning at all?

Got this phone last week from O2 and the NFC just wouldn't work with anything at all... They sent me a replacement phone today and it has the same problem! Is this a common fault?

Just looked in the advanced settings and it was set to use the SIM card for NFC instead of the Android system (Which is the one in the battery)

I didn't even know SIM cards could use NFC!

Switch on nfc and s beam then restart phone that work i got new s5 with 4g support from o2 when i signed up.. it work fine..
