Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 - Simple questions!

Hi OCUK,

Some quick questions around the tab2 7.0 from Samsung.

I have asked various people these questions and got different answers!

1 - Can i play flash/iplayer/youtube/etc in the browser on the tablet (like i can on my HP touchpad?)

2 - Battery life - How does it compare to the Touchpad?

3 - General performance - Should I expect a signifiant boost over the touchpad?

My touchpad is overclocked, and still on WebOS. Also, i can get the Tab2 7.0 for under £150 which i believe is less than Retail prices, so I am taking that into consideration too

Is this a worthwhile upgrade, or should i wait for a Windows8 tablet, seeing as I will have a Windows 8 phone in a month(ish)..

Yes
Should be similar battery life
Performance should be the same


For the price people are going to recommend the nexus 7, but it is a good tablet. W8 tablets are going to cost a lot more but probably nothing in the 7 inch form factor.

I've just managed to pick up the 3G version of this for a stonking price - I'll post some feedback when it arrives.
