Gall Bladder removal .

I assume that once they get too large that they can't blast them with a sonic shockwave..

They dont do that with gall stones, only kidney stones. They either remove the stone or the whole gall bladder. In this day and age they usually remove the whole bladder due to the possibility of gall stones reappearing. The procedure is very straight forward and you can live a comfortable life without a gall bladder, although sometimes your digestive system can find it harder to break down fats. They sometimes pass straight through.

Yepp took out the whole bladder , feeling a lot rougher today than yesterday but I suppose i was high on drugs .

They even walked me into the operating theatre and put me to sleep on the table keyhole surgery so i have 4 holes around my stomache . Went down at 11AM and was home by 4pm perks of private health care I suppose .

Just wondering what symptoms you guys had? I've had a nagging pain for a while now, it seems to wrap around my rib cage and has got worse over the last few days. Is always worse after i have eaten. My colleagues at work have suggested gall stones! I am off to see the doctor on Monday.
