It still amazes me how good Rogue Leader 2 an early Gamecube game looks. You could almost mistake it for nextgen.
yup me too, best cutscene ive ever seen in a gameMouseMat2004 said:Graphics on GOW are truely awesome, never seen anything like it. The cut scenes are immense, the one when the helicopter crashes and that big massive thing kills the captain bloke was truely amazing, I was just sat there in total awe. The scary thing, I think they will probably still improve!

Must say that Red Steel screenshot looks awful. Saw some video footage of it a while back and it looked quite decent. Will probably be sticking to the more "fun" games on the Wii rather than FPS, so the grpahics shouldnt matter too much but thats a terrible shot.silversurfer said:Not that I would normally care while playing, but red steel has a fair few jaggies there. I dont really judge the look of these games till I see a proper live feed in game. Does it play good though?

And larger monitors, specifically those with a higher native res won't have problems/not like running at that res? I know its a whole different kettle of fish, but acidentally hitting a pc game into 1440x900 made a game look terrible & blocky on it, just trying to get my head around it all for when i pick up the 360 today![]()

Native 1680x1050 so was happy that the new patch enabled this monitor to work in 1080i via its component inputs. Ok not very many monitors have component inputs but certainly improved the scaling/quality over the 720p output did. Same would go i suppose with owners of 22-24" panels using VGA or component inputs.
1920x1080 = 360x30 pixels to be scaled
1280x720 = 400x330 pixels to be scaled
