Ok ok the only way to get an half decent pic is to have a console connected to a good LCD screen or monitor but still there is some fantastic looking games out there that look great that I'd like to see them just like many other folks I'm guessing. Such as GOW pics and soon we'll have a flood of new Wii owners.

This as to be a perfect time for a Game Console screenshot thread. Don't you agree? :D :cool:
 
I don't know if I can do it by editing my post. But a admin could change it to "The Official 800x600 Maximum Console Screenshot Thread" :cool:

gears of wars, graphically looks rubbish. any low to mid pc can do it....

the ps3 will produce better looking graphics within 1 month from launch, you'll see, you'll all see!!!!!!

i dont think a low to mid spec pc would run gears of war with all the detail turned on.
i have a fairly high spec pc 7800gtx graphics card etc and i think you would need at least that to run that game at a decent frame rate.

Again, LOL

Just look at Oblivion and what that needs to run well with all the detail on a PC, and I think Gears of War, while it may be a little more optimised and better coded that Oblivion, it would demand a hell of a lot more out out of a PC.

a 7800GTX would pass out at the thought of running Gears of War
 
Those GOW screens looks outstanding. Do you guys realy think games will be as easy to produce on the PS3 than the 360 with XNA aiding the development of games?
