Game controller for PC?

I might be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that no data is sent down the plug+charge wires. It's purely for power, and the data is still sent via wireless, so as said, you'd just need the wireless adapter.

that's correct :)

you can either use a wired controller, buy a wireless receiver if you already have a wireless cotroller or buy the reciever and controller in one package which is a little cheaper :)

Thanks guys, definately going to go with the xbox 360 controllers, I have found a 'for windows' one for £29.99 free delivery online, just need to find the cheapest standard wireless ones now.

Cheers again.

you'll need the wireless reciever for windows, think it's about £13 ish

wireless controllers are usually around £19 ish

can get them both in a bundle for £30

If you're going to just get the receiver you may as well just get the plain wired controller.

Receiver £13
Wired controller £17

Unless you really want a wireless of course.

Not sure if I made myself entirely clear there, what I meant was I am planning to buy:

1 - wireless for windows controller (with receiver)
1 - standard xbox 360 wireless controller (without receiver)

Because as I understand it, I only need the one receiver for up to 4 controllers, so therefore can save a tenner this way, unless I have totally misunderstood.

I think the wireless receiver that comes with the 'for windows' package will accept multiple connections so you could buy multiple standard controllers too. However this is by no means a guarantee so i would have a quick run around on google and see what you come up with.

You can use 4 wireless 360 pads with the wireless receiver.
