If your going to get a 360 controller try and get a wireless receiver and the wireless version of the controller. Although that depends if you hate wires sticking out in front of you as much as i do, i got my wireless receiver from ebay for about £5.

I use motioninjoy with my DS3, never had any problems with it and have been running it for the past 2 years.

360 pad is great because its plug and play with no messing about, but I am not personally a fan of it. I'd much prefer to use my PS3 pad and have to do for fighting games as the 360 pad is useless for that.

I'm interested to test the xbone pad out to see if that's any better.
