Hey All,

I'm thinking that its ok to start a thread about this game...

Anyway I'm in my third office which about 10 million copies of my latest game sold and 98 million in the bank, but I still have a couple of questions:

1. What is a director for?
2. How do I employ a hardware engineer to build my own console?

I have search the web but I cant actually find anything on it.

Cheers,

Stelly

98 million in the bank? WTF?! How?

I'm selling 40million at a time of my games but the most I've had is 305,023.7k

1. Director is just another staff title I believe

2. To get Hardware Engineer - you must get one staff member to level 5 in all staff titles (So get the staff member to level 5 in "Writer" and then use the swap item from the salesman to swap them to "Coder" and level them up to 5 again).

Once you have levelled them to 5 in all other titles, you can swap them to "Hardware Engineer" and make a console...

It's pretty difficult though - I made a console last night - it made me severally bankrupt :p

By the way, the best selling game combo you can make is Simulation + Dating

My top selling game, "Date, not Rape" sold 78million, can't even get close to that!

made my first console last nite, sold 16 million i think( i started a game at that point)

biggest selling game is 20 million copies.

i have about 250mill in the bank after the console, the console cost 90 million to make.

apparently hackers have great stats but are crap workers, so get them into a profession.

I've been trying for ages to get full 40 review marks in one game - but I can't do it :p

But 99% of the games I release now get Game Of The Year :p

My highest selling game is 4lly McBeal, the 4th game in my lawyer adventure series about Ally McBeal :p It sold about 39 mil. I'm building my second console, a handheld and have about 600 mil in the bank.

I haven't won game of the year yet and I have had a few games get 38 points but no higher yet.

Highest selling game of mine is "Dated 5" - The fifth sequel to my highly successful "Dating Simulator" series :p (Thanks for the tip - Simulation/Romance really is a good combo :p)

I shifted just over 16 million copies and made just over 50 million :D

I'm trying to get as much money together as I can - I plan on making a console soon :p

My first console had about 27% market share and my second one has bombed in comparison! it is sitting on about 14% and now my games are selling way less (10-15mill). Managed to get a game on the Intendro Whoops selling about 35 million; "Your Drive" a cutesy racing simulation so my cash reserves are back up to 600 mill odd.

I really hope the developer supports it with some updates every few months or so. I like the style but retina display graphics would be nice :)

now ive finished the 20 years and am just continuing, there doesnt seem to be any more console releases bar mine.

there should be an infinite play mode.

I'm on year 12, and struggle to make 5 million sales

I do have a "Stephen Jobson" on my staff. Oh the mighty have fallen!

I seem to be in a cycle of spending what I earned and saving over nothing lol, in my 3rd office, the way it just seemlessly rolls from contracts to game I ate up 2 hrs today playing it!

Anyone any tips for it?

Don't spend anything on advertising, just save the "research data" and level your staff to level 5. Buy 3 "job swap" items from the travelling businessman and use it to re-train a member of staff. Level them up to level 5 in that job title and change again.. repeat until they are level 5 for every job you've retrained them in and you unlock the "hardware engineer" title.

Build your own console and create a "sequel" for your best selling game, using the menu. Promote this game heavily and watch the money roll in.
