Game install sizes are getting bigger and bigger... !!

I'm with you, I'm sitting bout 15-16gb for my wow install which is becoming ridiculous! Once cataclysm comes out I dread to think how big that will be.

Think It's time to build a new desktop and fill it with a mad amount of storage

havent you heard of inflation?

anyway they are obviously going to get bigger as technology improves, do you think pong was a 25GB 30 minute install? :rolleyes:

And this is actually wheres consoles LOSE, the mora data required the more discs they need to use, and even blu ray discs are becoming too small.
 
I'm not sure about pong, but I do remember trying to write programs into 1kb (including the screen) on my ZX81 :) Top right-hand corner F.T.W. :D
 
Tera,the new Bluehole studios' MMO is supposedly 30Gb big.This is the standard game,be prepared to download a ****load of patches after release :)
