Hi,

Played CSS for years. CoD 1 + 2 + 4 + 6 lol. I really like insurgency mod but I want to play the Search and Destroy game type.


CSS is looking a little dated now, I do enjoy S&D on MW2 as much as any sane person can, but with lag, hackers, cannot disable perks it's pretty gay.

I never got on with cod4 because of the perks system, I also tried America's Army 3 but that was a bug riden mess when it was released and last I heard the development team was sacked so no patches were anticipated.

What games are out there? Suppose I could buy cod2 again and try to find a promod cod4 server, I just weren't to keen on the level design in cod4.

Anything coming out in 2010? With dedi servers, the console and ability to disable any crap perk system?

Maybe I should just play arma 2 and forget about S&D :p
 
command and conquer is search and destroy :P

L4d has 2 teams, which must kill each other to win points. Same concept!

Also how about Battlefield 2 or 2142, brilliant games.

It's el rocko. Though it's a little more "action-y" than CSS I guess (a good thing in my book).

Just noticed that you want something more modern... Perhaps not UrT then :)

+1 for this.

I think the whole spawn once per round thing is dated now. DoDS and TF2 do it better by having the delayed spawn times and set spawn areas. A team has to be fully aware of when and where it's reinforcements are coming instead of just dealing with it round by round, far more interesting.
