Dying Light, what a surprise that was, runs well looks amazing and had me hooked start to finish, loved it.

A very close second would be GTA5 just for how impressive the world is but it Dying Light wins out just for it blowing expectations out of the water

I'm struggling to understand why so many people have rated Elite Dangerous game of the year ? I purchased this game in the sale and find it really hard to get to grips with or even understand , it comes across as a really complicated game to get in too , it's probably the hardest game I have played this year, Can you explain why its game of the year for you ? I have learned the basics of flying in and out of the hanger and can control the craft well , my main problem is getting too destinations and then doing the task at hand , it doesn't really guide you or help you when you land at the destination. can someone point me in the right direction so I can enjoy this game as you do ?

Dying light was unique and dynamic. It was more than just a novelty Zombie open world game that we see being produced en masse.

Me and 3 buddies have had an absolute hoot playing this.

(Although I will admit to being behind the gaming curve...yet to play Witcher3 or Dying Light!)

Witcher 3 for me.

Not without a few faults and glitches, but you can overlook these. Great story, fantastic graphics and endless adventures. Played it twice on normal and twice on NG+.
Only game worth buying this year.
