US: Game of Thrones Season 3 (contains spoilers)

I think Diana Rigg will be brilliant as the Queen of Thorns

Is it just me or does Sophie Turner look so much older now than at the start of the series?

She's kind of got too seeing as it's a TV show...
I assume they are going to dwell on her being taken up to her room after the wedding to be porked by the pig rider which would probably amass complaints if she was portrayed as the 12/13 year old she is supposed to be

I can't wait for this, I'm really eager to see how they turn the awesomeness of book 3 pt 1 into cinematic action.

Just watched the trailer. Sort of spoiler......
Did I see Wildlings climbing the wall?? Didn't think that was until several books later?

It's book 3...
john climbs the wall with ygrittem quite a few of them fall off, once over they get very close to the out tower that Bran happens to be hidding in when Jon attacks the wildlings he's with in the confusions of the direwolf attack and joins up with his brothers on the wall to warn of the imminant threat
...annoyingly I can't remember if that is part 1 or 2, this would help to work out how much of book 3 this series will cover.

Charles Dance has leaked in a panel that season 4 is happening. He said he had 6 scripts and would be filming later this year. Not really unexpected with the success but you never know with the networks, they could have cancelled...maybe?

Had a quick google when i read that and ended up with a chuckle..

"Entertainingly, as soon as the words "season four" left Charles Dance's mouth, the panel moderator signalled his panic with a few swift knocks to the table top, a message Dance happily talked though."

Answers the question of whether this season will cover the whole of Storm...but not how much it will cover, though I think it safe to assume which parts will be used as season-enders

Red Wedding- Season 3
Tywin's death- Season 4

Recently rewatched both season 1 & 2. Brilliant while watching them but then depressing when done and looking at the other shows currently airing. There are a few decent ones but nothing in the same league as GoT.

most shows won't have half of GOT's budget

Anyone been watching the History and Lore of Westeros? They're bonus extras from the DVDs, short 3-5 minute clips. Artwork is wonderful with well written dialog and narrated by the relevant character.

Must be about two dozen on youtube now, really interesting.

I like Stannis. Not sure why the whole kingdom is against him being king?

Stannis has a fair claim, but right he should actually be King, but he would probably be a pretty bad King really. He demands that people follow him and isn't the most inspiring of leaders.
Great character though

I'm sure they'll make a decent job of the series, they haven't done badly so far. There's some pretty major events which they need to nail though.

I mean as a person. If you compare her audition tape to pictures of her now she looks much less childlike.
