So im returning to PC gaming in a week or so.
I was thinking of getting this Games Pad.

I dont require Wiress and this pad can be programed to mimic
mouse moves and keyboard inputs "if" you want.
(also has rumble).
I'll be using it for Driving games mostly.

I can get it for about £32 delivered.

thoughts?

  • Our newest line-up of gamepads support the two most common input standards used by game developers—DirectInput and XInput.
  • For games without native gamepad support, you can customize your experience with fully programmable controls that can emulate keyboard and mouse inputs.*

On the subject of xbox360 pads, wireless (preferred) or wired, how can I be sure that one I'm purchasing as the new and improved d-pad?

The new controllers are a different colour now. They are a silver/grey/black combo and the buttons are not green, blue, red and yellow anymore but a silver grey white colour.

360 pad is the way forward I have to say ;)

Excellent support for most PC games as it's auto configured ;), I use mine for Tomb Raider, FIFA 11 and all my racing games.

Doesn't Xbox pad feel 'clunky'?

I would have thought that there is greater control on the buttons, etc with logitech gamepad as it is thinner and smaller, so easier to use.

I also own a logitech gamepad btw.
