Just a quick question..

I just pre-ordered BF3 and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine from Game and was wondering if they will ship Space Marine in a few days and then BF3 when it's released?

I did submit a ticket on their online help but I got an error page so thought I'd ask here just in case anyone knew from experience and/or the question didn't get through.

I don't see the point of pre ordering unless it's a good deal, seems closer it gets to release the cheaper it gets does my head in ! they should offer cheap pre orders not more expensive.I'll be waiting until I see £24.99 tops for bf3.

steam usually have special on pre orders if you buy early.
sometimes its free games as well.

its a shame thier release prices aren't always competative

New games have always been £30, I don't see the point in waiting for the price to go down, I earn Czech wages and don't consider it a bad price.

Steam doesn't have Warhammer or BF3 though :)

I disagree with the above games get cheaper pretty fast these days and it wont be long before you can get bbf3 for £19.99 or £24.99 certainly wont be at £29.99 for long.I got that fifa 12 deal recently you had to buy 3x boxer shorts at the same time £35 but works out £17.85 for fifa 12 + loads of ultimate team gold packs emailed to you now that's what I consider a good deal as the dkny boxers are pretty much £15-£20 everywhere anyway.
I want to pre order Dark souls but there's no good pre order prices they are all £35 which is a joke as within a month after release you'll see it for £20-£25 somewhere.

not sure y warhammer is not available for steam thou, it was on steam awhile ago, but it got removed before pre-orders

had it on my wishlist for awhile until it disappeared

EDIT: it appears space marine is infact on steam, just not for the UK

THQ (and some other publishers) have a deal with Game that they won't allow pre-orders of Steam-works enabled titles on Steam itself.

Game effectively say "We won't stock XYZ game if it's got Steamworks on it, unless you'd like to give a month exclusive head start over Steam". It's disgraceful that publishers are bending over to this.

Game have denied doing this, but at least a few publishers have said they received warnings from "major high street games outlets".

I preordered a game for the first time in ages the other day- Skyrim. At 22.99 I felt it was worthwhile, since I was always going to buy it anyway, and I probably won't find a better price.

I'll preorder BF3 at some point when I have the money, got £5.50 in reward points from Gamestation to use towards it.

I bought BF3 limited edition + Skyrim for £23 a piece. Feels good to support the people, though if Skyrim turns out to be crap closer to release date, I'll just drop it. :p

Ive done exactly the same as the OP. However I was thinking will Game send codes out so we can play in the BF3 beta?

where from ? if not a competitor as I cant find it for that price anywhere on pc

It was a time limited offer at Bee.com.

The order cost me £23.19 but they haven't charged me yet (I think) and there's some Quidco cashback too (£1.39) which brings the total price to £22.

Has anybodies pre-order for W40k:SM shipped yet from the above mentioned shop. I suppose I am a little spoilt for luck with Deus Ex shipping a whole 6 days before release. The new website is terrible.
