Game RAGE msgs

Is this a common problem on the 360? Eveytime I have a go on one at my mates house, the games just seem filled with 12 year old American children. Had this once on the PS3.

I don't think it's so much platform specific as game specific. Back when I had my first 360 I used to get a lot of crappy messages on Fifa, same was true of the PS3 version, always people trash talking and stuff. I used to get it a bit on CoD as well no other games though.
 
mostly kids on 360 arcade models id guess :p


not had many myself , mainly get ''thanks for some good games'' off people on fifa , this is partly because im rubbish and partly because when i do win i do it in style
 
I think what I will do is. Upload some pics. Of the sort of msgs I get. Was just a tester. To see who gets em. I think it's amazing how some people get worked up over a game. Some of the messages just make me wanna bang a wall with my hand and drink lots of milk ;)

I like to be a bit more sophisticated and copy swear phrases from websites to post in my opponent's native tongue. I got a message from a Hungarian chap who told me I should quit playing Battlefield and go and play with Barbie and Ken instead. At least that's what Google Translate said.
 
Had a funny one once whilst on the PS3 virtual world thing (can't remember the name of it lol).

Wandering around checking out what was available and spotted the chess tables, sat down and started a game with someone, hadn't played a game in 10 years or so but thought I'd give it a bash, took about 30mins and finally got the guy into checkmate, he then typed ****ing ****, got up and walked away.

I was rather amused :p
 
I get them a lot which is usually because people are sore losers, but once I know what buttons to press I can't help but wind them up :D

My last one was from someone who is going to hack my account, track me down and smash my face in :p He has my IP address and I can say bye bye to my internet apparently. I asked how he was going to do it and all he could say was he has the right cables beside him :rolleyes:
 
My mate gets loads of hate on MW2 and BLOPs on his 360, some of them are rediculously funny.

I get the odd one on PSN, i was laughing at a hacker on MW2 as he went invisible and i killed him with semtex as he was 22-0, he messaged me all sorts and then tried to claim his hack enabled him to control all PS3s and that he had banned me from the servers and now my PS3 would be blocked entirely :rolleyes:
 
i have only ever had one, i was playing demons souls when some noob invaded my game i promptly mauled him then he pmed me saying "B***h" i just pmed him back and said "lol noob"
 
I got accused of cheating on Halo 3 a year or so ago and was told that I'd get "reported to xbox for being a ****ing cheater!"
Some American 30 odd something that probably lives with his parents...

I sent one rage message once, and it was someone who had an awful connection and was host in MW2, I told him to **** off with his crap connection.

I almost did it last night on Black Ops too, as some idiot and his split screen mate were full green bars whilst everyone else was 1 bar connection.

I would have quit, if I hadn't already quitted out of several games prior to that. :o
 
Had one recently from AC:Brotherhood

We were miles ahead score wise, couldnt lose.
About 7 seconds left on the clock, someone poisons a target, but well i decide to shoot his kill from range :p a bit lame maybe but makes no difference in the end considering.

The cussing afterwards .. jesus
