Game recomendations

I would have suggested borderlands too. What I will say is keep an eye on Humble Bundles as their $1 tier can be quite good and you can end up grabbing some decent games for very little money as an example which is bad timing, they currently have Borderlands 1 GOTY in their $1 tier, and Borderlands 2 is in beat the average which comes in at just shy of £4 currently.

Oh and if you enjoy Borderlands 2, the Tiny Tina DLC is awesome so pick up the season pass at some point!
 
The STALKER series is a collection of PC only games, They're an atmospheric first person rpg with horror aspects as you travel an open world set inside the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, You can usually find all three games in a £5.00 bundle, They're old games now released between 2007 and 2009 but they've created an interesting scenario where after the Chernobyl Power plant accident when the real world 30km exclusion zone was created both the Government and other interested party's started using the area for the types of science International laws forbid, The enemies you meet are not just off the human variety, there's genetic experiments gone wrong and creatures that have been mutated by the zone itself. Thanks to a strong modding community you can also update it visually, not that it looked bad in the first place.

spend 20 quid and get enhanced edition dying light

mind borderlands and borderlands 2 are great suggestions

along with the dlc they are superb fun

I loved the haunted island dlc..its all the echo broadcasts lying around that are soo funny
 
Have you played Fallout 4 with all the factions or just finished it one way as its a very different game depending who you side with?
If not play through again and side with someone else or GTA V imo, its got a brilliant single player story mode with a great story, excellent side quests and some very memorable missions.
 
I'm on Borderlands 2 Ultimate Vault hunter mode now, it's very difficult, I nearly gave up but I am starting to get some god equipment now. Fallout 4 was a bit disappointing in my opinion but I will give it another go soon

At least there's a wealth of mods available to alter it in a variety of ways. I enjoyed it with relatively few mods for the first run through, but I've still yet to finish it. Must return to it at some point.
