HandBrake never accepted the Dxtory files, help?

I did not, I did't think it was really necessary..
The Lagarith codec doesn't play in VLC so it might be why Handbrake doesn't transcode it. Load it into Windows Movie Maker or a better editing software and render it down first, then chuck it in handbrake and it should be all good. Besides chucking a 50gb 30 minute BF3 video straight into handbrake is a waste of time
