I been a tester on and off for capcom its really not great. You have to work to strict deadlines, long hours the pay is not that great.
Really is a tedious process it can range from anything to constantly talking to ncps to pausing and unpausing the game at certain points. Turning the controllers on and off.
If you do actually get to play the game you have to rush through them usally on the hardest setting. You have no input on what goes into the game or things that get changed your just there to find bugs.
If you have any love or passion for games its better not to get into testing. Its usally the case non gamers make the better testers.
