Hi guys, picked up Tried&Tested 's Gamecube on the MM. Missed this console entirely and would like to catch up now all games are cheap.

Plan on getting the resi remakes+resi 4 anyway. Also wanna get Mario Kart.

Main use will be for multi player as the 360 is not very good for that (offline) and im too tied into the achievement system to do too much offline play on the cube. So mainly itll be a 2 player machine. But any TOP classic SP games welcome, preferably unique ones to that console tho cos others i may have played/ can play on 360.

Cheers

Mario Kart: Double Dash and Super Smash Bros. Melee are great for multiplayer, so is Super Monkey Ball (though that's multiplatform). I've had a lot of fun with multiplayer Mario Tennis too. Also, Timesplitters is probably the best multiplayer FPS for the 'cube, but it's not exclusive.

As for single player must have games; Metroid Prime and Wind Waker are amazing.

I loved F-Zero single player, but didn't get into multiplayer as much. No one wanted to play because there's a semi steep learning curve. If you have a group of people that will want to play it, it'd be great fun.

only the 1st resident evil is a remake, resi 2, 3 & code veronica are just ports from the ps1/pc games. just so u know

i also recommend resident evil zero

looks very like the resi remake and is very good to play imo and it is exclusive to the GC

have fun :D

Posted in another one of these threads, appreciate some have been said:

F-Zero GX
Res Evil Remake/Zero and 4 (the best)
Monkey Ball 1 & 2
Metroid Prime
Animal Crossing
Zelda: Wind Waker
Super Mario Sunshine - second best 3D platformer
Viewtiful Joe

Not great but v.good:
Ikaruga (US or Japanese Version if poss)
Mario Kart Double Dash - fine multiplayer
Mario Golf (although not as strong as the N64 version, I sense the same as Tennis, 7/10 territory)
Mario Party (Any) for multiplayer fun again
