As it getting closer to Christmas i have been looking on the net for a few games/accesories for the gamecube for my 7 year old son. i found that lots of places have either stopped selling Gamecube titles or have a limited stock of titles. Has anybody else experience this? I now the Wii is due out in a few months but surley Gamecube cannot be going out already as i only bought it last year?

Can anybody recommend some good websites for Gamecube games etc etc?, cheers

Gamecubes always been a bit wierd for getting games.

Back home in Abingdon, Woolworths and Tesco didnt stock gamecube games even when it was first released and still dont even now.

Also in Swansea, Gamecube games has the smallest section (sometimes even just one shelf) in both Game and Gamestation (the preowned section is quite large tho).

I've never worked out why

Doh :( I bought it last year (Christmas time) for him on a recommedation aswell , could probably sell it and get a PS3 when it is released ;)

o joy :( looks like it was a quaility buy then lol ;)

I only bought my GC a few weeks ago. I'm having a great time picking up cheap second-hand games. F-Zero GX for a fiver, Resident Evil 4 for fourteen quid. Nice!

Thats a bargain, isn't it? It's cheaper than game and maybe it is worthwhile to get one while waiting for Wii.

With the wii coming out soon there are some very good adn now cheap new/used games on the gamecube that you will be able to play on the wii. I don't own a gamecube myself but will buy a wii and some nice cheap gamecube games are just what the doctor ordered

Just sold one of my spare 'cubes in the MM for £40inc, including Mario Party 4, Zelda WW Ltd, Double Dash and some other games...you can't give them away!. Its still a system i enjoy collecting for though, although i'm trying to steer away from UK games and get onto the NTSC stuff...

Yeah it sucked when I used to have a gamecube. Mind you, when I was in the Stafford Gamestation last week I don't remember seeing any

When I went into my local gamestation on saturday to get my Xbox 360 the guy infront of me was trying to sell his gamecube.

They offered him £17 for the console, controller, and 2 memory cards! The staff member was very apologetic as even he seemed to believe it was a very low price but it does indeed seem that you can't even get rid of them.

I'm keeping mine and want to pick up super smash bros as i seem to have lost mine but it's still fairly expensive even now! :(

I picked up a 2nd hand one for £30 with 2 pads, and a big memory card over the summer, since then i've picked up Mario Kart for £12, StarWars Rouge Squadron for £4, Res Evil remake for £4, NHL 2005 for £8, Zelda Winwaker for £10. Had lots of fun on it already, would get a footie game on it except i can't seem to find anything decent on it.

Only decent football game I've ever played was Winning Eleven which a friend had imported for silly money. :(
