(gamegpu) Battlefield 1 Benchmarks

Today I'm learning that something of a 5% performance gap or so is 'absolutely destroying' in comparison.

I'd call that a laughable exaggeration, but ok.

As a rule the 1070 should have a respectable lead over the Fury X but here it sits a good 10 frames behind in 1440p so yes let us have our moment in the sun sheesh!

Do we have many/any games with full mGPU support in DX12 as yet? I know ashes was supporting 2 GFX cards, including integrated but I haven't been following closely.

It would be nice if they upgraded SW:BF to DX12 if they also do mGPU

Given the 1060 beats the 480 in other battlefront/field games and the same engine is in use im going to wait on further testing am not convinced by this.

So does DX12 in this actually add anything (ie make the game look better) or does it just hobble performance on Nvidia cards like a lot of dx12 games?

No that's about right. If you peg the 1060 at 980 performance then as with the other bf games there's a 15% advantage to the 1060.

The 390x is faster than the gtx980 which is also matched by the 390. I think AMD have some driver work to do as the RX480 should be matching the 390. The gtx980 is actually faster than the 1060 in this game.

Another game without mGPU support in DX12.

DX12 is shaping up to be the most useless API ever.

Bring back Mantle pleased......

said it from the off its a DX10 all over again.couple of games with no real difference.salesmen x i call it.:D

They is a difference though
Getting sick and tired of saying this on here now!! And you all call yourselves gamers... :p
Even with the same frame rate DX12 is night and day vs DX11 because of the lower frame latency. Games feel much smoother...

Am yet to play a game that doesn't show this and even enough proof out there to back me up.

Playing Deus Ex mankind divided atm and DX12 vs DX11 is night and day....

I guess it's because mix of higher min and them better frame latency that makes this happen..

You guys need to stop looking at xx fps vs xx fps they is far more to it than that.

:D

But yes dx 12, vulkan, mantle are superb, give me higher min fps and lower frame latency over a higher max FPS any day of the week.

When devs start taking mGPU seriously in DX12 it may be worth using but until then it is next to useless @2160p.

mGPU DX11 setups are far better for 2160p.

I can understand Nvidia not gaining anything or gaining very little, but what is the reason for actually losing a decent chunk of performance?
