Gamers mouse

Sorry but MX518/G5/G7

Where is the MX1000? Another perfectly good mouse for gaming. :p
Just the make the point yet again though, go somewhere where you can hold a few mice to see which type suits you best.

mx518. lovely mouse. buttons in the right place (TWO side buttons, not one) moves well, is plenty sensitive enough, almost perfect shape, wired so no wireless-related problems.....great mouse.

the only minor problem i have, is that its perhaps a little under-weighted. my ham fists do have a tendancy to throw the mouse a little too far. i think extra weight would sort that. minor gripe though:)

i personaly cant stand logitech mice i have a razor m1, which is a budget gaming mouse, still has 1600dpi and is excellent shape. for the same reason the copperhead gets my vote, if your a pro gamer your choice HAS to be the copperhead =] or the cheaper version, diamondback.

No, if you are any kind of serious gamer you should get what fits your hand best and whatever button setup you get on with.

at the moment i have the razer copperhead although i find my hand cannot sit comfortably ontop of the mouse, i can't really explain it but it does make my wrist ache after a hard gaming session anyone else with this problem, id sell up for the g5 if i knew my hand could fit snuggly in it.

i have the copperhead and i like it but if i wasn't left handed i would get the Logi, build is pretty poor on the copperhead aswell and i even sent mine back because the left front button doesnt work but ocuk sent it back with no fault found so i guess i'll have to live with it, fortunately being left handed means i dont use that button as said above you would need a strange shaped hand to get a decent grip on it.

The best mice for the gaming are in my opinion the Razer copperhead, the Logitech mx518 and the Logitech g5, with a light advantage for the mx518.

I've got an mx500 and use logigamer to bind keys to the various side buttons so they work in TS and all games

I went from a standard wireless logitech mouse to a logitech g5 and by mind it took some getting used to. I have had it about 2 months now and I am getting used to it now but I still prefer wireless I think.
