games are blurry @ 2560 x 1440.

Lets be clear, Input lag is when you move the mouse and what happens on the screen is delayed, as a result your monitor loses some of frames and it has to resend them hence the lag.

Ghosting is when you move the mouse and you get motion blur.

IPS screens are not designed for gaming, if you have used a TN panel before you will notice input lag and ghosting.

I personally have given up playing games on a IPS display I have the Asus PB278Q. It's ok for single player games but it loses too many frames for online gaming.

sure if you spend enough and get the brand new dell monitor with very low input lag.

what Monitor do you have?

If you switched fro 120hz TN to 60hz IPS. There will be a noticeable quality drop when it comes to gaming. IPS will not match up to a 120Hz TN. Videos are still low framerate compared to games, the chances of noticing a differance is minimal.

I can watch videos fine on my 60hz displays, but anything other than my 120hz for gaming is a mess. Even gaming at 120hz without lightboost enabled is a noticeable quality drop.

What about a 27" ips 120hz monitor? Expensive? Or not possible?

I can't say what monitor I have as it's an export model.

I have a Hazro 27" WC (IPS) 1440p & it never looked blurred at 60hz, I've over clocked it to 90hz & its noticeably smoother...

After checking I wouldn't say it's blurred, just lags behind a little, played cod ghosts and bf4 and had no issues, must be cod4 maxed out at 2560x1440 :(

I'm willing to pay the price based on its perfect when I receive it :) if not I'll be getting refunded and most likely go 4k :)
