Neither for me! I'm just a long term gamer that thinks he knows what'd make a good game - He I believe studied some form of games development at uni or coding or something.. I try to keep my memories rage free

baplad, i agree man it sucks but even with all the samey games over and over youd really hope one would have a better competitive gameplay.. i cant help but think if mw2 had dedicated servers and a customizable search and destroy mode we might well be half way there.. the other half would be some serious perk tweaking!

As for RTCW this is same gfx/age as ET but more players?

It's roughly the same age - ET came out a few years after - and, unfortunately, has far less players due to not being free. It's a shame as RTCW was the better game in every respect - ET borrowed much of what was good from RTCW and added a bunch of things that weren't. It still pains me to this day when people rave about ET and not RTCW.

Theres not many actual FPS games out there anymore.. more like FPS+ ... ie its not just FPS skills that play a part in the game, its off map artillery, on map vehicles, remote control cars, perks that boost your character etc

For raw FPS gaming look at MOHAA, QUAKE, UT, CS etc - those are the proper FPS games, no gimmicks, just 2 sides, small teams playing TDM, FFA, CTF, OBJ etc - set selection of weapons available to everyone, simple but fun maps...

I tired ET a year or so ago but I think it was full off hackers?

MOH AA etc..gfx are way old now. I still have cs:S which is pretty solid fps.
