Games that have disappeared into oblivion, what would you like to see make a come back?

Most of these have been mentioned, but my picks:

Hidden and Dangerous (I'm glad a few people have mentioned this!)
MechWarrior - a decent simulation with VR support and hotas controls (not mouse based like MWOnline - waste of a game)
MechCommander
Syndicate (I'll check out Satellite Reign)
Slipstream 5000 with VR
Clusterball

After years waiting for Elite, these old games can be resurrected!

Aliens vs Predator 2, the old one from circa 2001.
The game was so far ahead of it's time with the various multiplayer classes and game modes and not a single game has even came close to matching the survivor mode that game had. Just a shame it's net code was balls.

Right there with you mate, I played that game to death and the only problem like you say was the netcode. I would love it to be remastered/re-released on steam.

The nostalgia in me would really love a stripped back COD like UO/COD2 but that's a leap.

And apologies for quoting my own post. But, as well as Elite, Titan Quest has just been resurrected with new DLC. The good old games do seem to keep coming back.

Desert/Jungle Strike would be pretty awesome. It wouldn't even have to be AAA to be good.

Vampire: The Masquerade was amazing and I think I am right in saying it was the 1st game to get the 18+ tag slapped on it would love to see this back again . Also I would love a remake of the xwing and tie fighter games. Dark forces as well would be great to see remade. Hell I remember having to buy a stick of 8mb ram to run df2 that cost me over £250 quid back in 1995!
