Ok guys, so say you have a PC which runs every game out there.

What are the ESSENTIAL games that MUST be in that collection!

Some true classics....
 
One from the championship manager series
Transport tycoon deluxe
One of the Civ games
AOE 2
Lego Star Wars
Rome Total War
Half Life 2
Battlefield 2

Thoose are the only games listed there that I have ever had a urge to play rather than going out, so they are worth it!
 
Yewen, there are some, erm, 'interesting' choices there. :D

Thief Gold Edition (Should have Thief Original & The Dark Project in it+ additional content, but there have been various different versions around)- One of the best game series ever written.

My justification for that one, only £10 now or less, offers 2 player pick up and play fun for about 30 hours, does not get boring and is quite funny.

It is one of thoose games :p
 
Add the entire Baldurs Gate series to the list.
Truly epic

And Total Annihilation.
Probably the best RTS ever. ever

Now they were back in the day, i really adored those games, its probably where my gaming begun.
