Games, The way they should be played.

My sister was demoing the 401 at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town over summer and I got to go on it quite a few times on the "Live for Speed" game. Was a whole heap of fun!

Thats brilliant, bet it would cost a fortune... Even worse would be if the other half comes back and sees the entire lounge cleared out just for what looks like a sophisticated bucking bronco

My university has a motion simulator that can be used for games. My project isn't using it, but I'm going to make sure I have a go on the games that are using it:D

One of the groups is doing a mechwarrior type game. That should be fun.

Thats really cool, once its integrated into console games for a more streamline experience i think it would be a hit among gamers with fat wallets.

I think if they could get the price down to £2k and make it as small as possible, it would shift a lot of units

I love how the screen is attached to the chair on the 401

Heh, that reminds me of the old arcade game, R360... only better

The LFS speed one looks pretty crazy - and the crash in Richard Burns...! Wow, that is awesome. I can imagine that simulating all the bumps in game must really add to the experience...

Ours is rubbish in comparison though.

In what way? It has the same freedom of movement doesn't it? Plus doesn't it have 3 screens inside, rather than just the one?

Mostly in terms of acceleration. It moves much slower and cannot rotate far about the vertical axis iirc.
