Games to flex that new PCs muscles.

I know you’ll be installing it eventually but honestly Star Citizen at 4K is beautiful, I was driving around a planet earlier and legit it looks realistic.
Yeah it's been uninstalled for years now, runs like powerpoint on a 6700k and a 1080.

I just have to wait till my new sticks arrive as well, then i plan on having fun sat in my rig in front of a 4k OLED screen.

@mrk
Your right, flight sims like MS flight sim and DCS look amazing in trailers and messing around with cameras but get too close to the ground and the illusion collapses pretty quick, like zooming in too far on google earth.

It's true.... look the difference between most games.... nearly everything is designed for consoles and farcry 3 looks about the same as 6 apart from higher res textures and a few flashy effects....

in my day we had crysis guess you are one of those zoomer folk who doesn't know how good PC gaming once was
Crysis was definitely not the way things were in general. It was an exception. The only one from what I can remember.

Hellblade Sensua's sacrifice probably has the best graphics. Also Battlefield 1 (amazing graphics although it's not too demanding at max settings). Also look at the recently revamped Plague a tale of innocence and Assassin's creed valhalla

Gaurdians of The Galaxy looks spectacular imo, likewise Shadows of The Tomb Raider with the settings cranked up is still right up there in my opinion. The Ascent is another real looker.

Minecraft RTX
minor but sort of related segue.

what is the best free rtx texture pack to use for bedrock minecraft.

I have a bunch and they give an error about lack of memory, falling back to low res texures and they look guff. (i have a 24gb memory gpu and 32gb of ram so this has to be minecraft being crap!.

i do have 1 texture mod for it which works and looks nice........ but am sure htere are better. thanks

Destiny 2 would get my thumbs up.

Visually some of the best graphics available imo, both thematically and atmospherically its truly amazing at times in the way it goes from tight spaces to very expansive areas and the kighting engine is amazing. Its also runs really really well and the base game is free to try.
