Games With Campaign Co-op ?

Dead space 3 is co op, few jump scares when I played with a friend but after a few scares you tend to expect when the monsters are coming and its a bit meh then.

Checkpoint mode in particular is not only brilliant but brutal at times, I love it.

Arma 3 & Apex DLC allows you to play like 7 or 8 missions co-op which is good fun with friends, there's also a lot of stuff included within the Steam Workshop for scenarios to play with friends.

Killing Floor 2 but it's not a campaign coop game but since you mentioned Evolve I threw this game in the mix.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (and probably a lot of other Splinter Cell games) had a decent 2 player co-op. I played it through with my other half, and we really enjoyed it.
