What sort of games would you like to see created, that either hasn't been done in a while, was never done well, or simply hasn't been done.

There as a game I played on the PC a long long time ago, I think it was called Castle, it wasn't that great a game IIRC but it had a nice Idea that I have not seen done on any major platform since (or if it has been done its not achived commercial acceptance.
The premise of the game was that you had X time to build a castle with a verity of components (towers, walls, gates, etc) and after x time was up you'd be attacked by a horde and you had to defend the castle whilst minimizing its damage, you'd then get a bit more cash to enhance your castle and time to make the upgrades before a stronger horde attacked.

I'd like to see this as an XBA game which you could play 4+ players on, maybe bulk it out a bit by adding an economy and making it into a basic RTS.

I'm sure there is similar out there on the Interweb as a flash game, I'd just like to see it implemented well so that I could play it with people on my friends list.

Also I'd like to see a return of the Monkey Island style games.

Hmmm ive always been more of a pc gamer, Severance: Blade of Darkness was the best hack and slash game ive ever played and certainly think there should have been a sequal. I loved the Hitman games, especially Contracts and Blood money and again would love to see the franchise continued.

Im abit of a star wars fan and always wanted a darth maul game, the life of until he got gutted type of experience.

I still want to see Peter Molyneux Fable come to be(1 and 2 fall short of what i want). I want an RPG in a fable like world, where you really feel part of the world. I want to be able to befriend the bad guy, and kill off the good guy. I don't want to be the hero of the world. I want to be evil, Even on an evil path in fable, you always Kill the Bad guys, Destroy the boss at the end, and live evily ever after. I want it to matter when you kill a certain someone, Rather than it being a 100gold fine.

Dunno, I just feel Fable still failed to be what Peter promised(Shock, I know)

That sounds cool, I'd buy it :p. As for games I'd like to see made, I'd like a new open world mirrors edge and a new jet set radio I'm not imaginative enough for new ideas though.

Basically just a remake of the original Elite with modern graphics and a truely living and breathing universe with excellent AI for police/pirates/bounty hunters and a realistic market. Don't mind being able to upgrade my ship/buy new ships, but don't care about controling fleets, stations etc.

No multiplayer, just lone trader against the universe as Elite is meant to be.

I still think a modern version of Elite would make an excellent Live or PSN arcade game.

Yeah good shout for Dungeon Keeper, would be awesome

Wouldn't mind another Elite:Final Frontier game either, the other space shooters don't seem as good even with spinky graphics.

I'll also raise you another game in the Strike series, but with modern graphics. I think they could really get it looking fabulous.

Bar that, how about the Strike series released on PSN with the option to download to PSP?

Heavenly Sword 2, without a doubt.

Beset game i can think off on the PS3 at launch, next to uncharted, and possibly the best one yet to make use of the tilt controls?

Agreed - I would love an updated version of this sort of game. There are not many first person arm slicing off type games!

I'd also like to see the Lego people have a go at an A Team game. Plenty of humor for them, lots of shooting but no one dieing and of course building things from nothing!
