Not so sure about that, they announced a partnership with MS last night. Time will tell what that means in the long run but it seems like Bluehole are getting pretty cosy with MS.

There sure does seem to be a lot of 'Exclusive' usage in that article. Would seem crazy to me to not do something on the PS4, what with the player base, but who knows.
 
Maybe MS see it as a ticket to Asia? I've seen quite a lot of Japanese and Korean people streaming PUBG on Twitch.

It's a bit of a PC phenomenon at the moment. Loads of people I know absolutely love playing it and don't play anything else. Not sure how it'll fit on consoles but right now it does seem a bit of a coup for MS because of its global popularity.

Personally I'm not interested because I only play games in short bursts these days and I never play in a social team nor use comms. I don't think I'd enjoy trying to lone wolf this game!
 
I'm not that hyped for PUBG to be completely honest, it's definitely a feather in MS's cap to have it completely exclusive, or a lengthy timed exclusive but from what i've seen it's a bit 'meh' to me.

I'll probably still end up buying it to see what all the fuss is about mind, hitting someone in the face with a frying pan definitely has it's appeal.
 
Finally managed to watch the conference this morning. Oh dear what a load of cack MS are really dragging the dredges tbh. They really have nothing for this console no new Halo or anything exclusive to show it off. Only Forza but that comes out a month before.....

It's all good having the hardware but the lack of games is worrying. 4k tart ups of old games is not going to cut it really...

My Pre-Order is in but hoping 2018 offers a bit more gaming on Xbox One X...
 
I'm more interested in an XB1S price drop tbh. They don't have any compelling exclusives that warrant a big ticket purchase but a sub-200 euro console could be enough to get me involved.
