hahaha, cant believe that 'best in britain' gamer did so poorly, but even more so at his reaction after 
I use to loooooooooove gamesmaster, If I remember right it was outside of the usual kids TV programme times, like 6pm on channel 4 or something (crystal maze style).
I use to like it when the kid warped in front of the GM to ask some daft question like "on mario 1 how do I go down the pipes?" In the days before the internet and magazines were too expensive GM was the best place for cheat codes and the like.
Not really about GM, but anyone remember the Fred Savage film "the wizard" ? I remember that showing me where the first flute was on mario 3...... lols

Aye, David Walliams did the original Gamesworld where he played various characters, D.C.I. Mike Hatter was the best. Get of my MANAAAAAARRRR!!
Met dom at metrocentre years and years ago. He was doing this challenge thing there. I couldn't get to challenge him but sister did. She got the participating goodie bag grr and she wasn't into gaming so double grr.
Replenish. Yeah i have seen the film too loved it tho lookin back it kinda is dumb as its just mario 3 tho i suppose it was a cool game back when released.
Watched some of the vids of GM on utube. Damn some of the gamers thought they were good but where utter tripe compared to my skills during that era lol. I mean sf2 in one vid ehonda vs ken i mean how crap was that they did barely any moves its like they didnt know the game at all or their best attacks and def. Especially the ken fellow he didnt know the powerful roll throw or the obvious jump kick then straight to FB which usually was a good move.

I remember going to see this filmed when I was a kid with my brother and some mates, it was filmed in some old pumping station or something like that and it took ages with quite a lot of waiting around for the next part to be filmed. Bless my Dad for taking us though, I can hardly imagine a day out he would have enjoyed less.

Walliams and Lucas were both on there, prior to them turning into mash and peas.
Incidently, for gamesmaster fans, did anyone watch Dom and Kirk's night o plenty on paramount? It was my favorite night of the week when it was on, the famous mash and peas episode was a classic when they got diamond so annoyed.
