Now gamespy has gone is there another game server browser.

just put a game on and no-one is online, i fancy a few older
games but dont fancy installing just to find out they are dead.

A lot of older games have their own unofficial lobby/browser these days - which is a bit of a pain as some aren't very supported and/or you have to be careful of malware, etc.

^^ Yeah Gameranger is the best I know of. Used it to play the old Age of Mythology games years back before they remastered it.
