I'll suggest this @real,, Could it be possible that gameworks does exactly like it promises and lifts the relevant cards its designed for higher then where they should be at rather than lowering AMDs?

If gameworks was new and there hadnt been any investigations into it i would be as worried as you seem to be but how many times can you Try/judge the same thing and get no proof yet keep saying its guilty

Gameworks is a recent thing. Over the years Nvidia have had this kind of topic going on a lot. It comes up to often for me so i am on the side of enough is enough. It's not like it just gets laughed of either as there's plenty of debate. If it was as black and white as NV fanboy's would believe there would be no talking points. The fact that there is talking points mean to me it's not so easy to talk away how innocent Nvidia is.

I'm not saying there completely innocent of wrong doing over the years.
What i am saying atm after all these articles there no proof its Harming AMD
Its been said its possible it could be used to harm AMD but its not Proved it has

Think of it like a legal case someone as been tried 2 or 3 times and found Not guilty do you still go around saying oh well there guilty or..

You say NV users ignore the facts ,, Well as a user of both hardware i would say your also ignoring the facts they could be Not guilty,And Gameworks is simply optimizing as it should for Nvidia cards .
I'm not saying it is i'm saying its a possibly we have to look at since its not been proved its harming AMD

Letting what ever has happened over the years affect your opinion over this new issue is imo close minded

Over the years there's been a lot of talk about AMD having poor drivers too. So do we accept that as being true because it has been mentioned a lot?

EDIT: Maybe that's what this is? AMD have written some poor drivers again but rather than admit it have got everyone blaming Nvidia?

Get me some story's where actual journalist keep going on about AMD drivers. Maybe you could find the 3 stories about NV drivers blowing up customer cards. You will never see me going around saying Nvidia drivers are rubbish. It's obvious crap sticks and maybe at one point amd drivers were bad. I certainly don't see stories about how bad amd drivers are. I hear it being stated sure. That's 2 different scenarios. One has stuck the other has multiple different stories that happen each year. Even when nvidia drivers are complained about you never here they are crap full stop yet they have made some of the worst drivers ever to grace a graphics card.

So now we're only worried about what journalists write? They are our source of truth?
Haven't these journalists concluded that there's no actual proof that GameWorks harms AMD performance?

Wonder if there are any stories of AMD R9 290s blackscreening?

Now we are only worried about Joirnalists. Is that not where all this amd news comes from. Those in the business. Surely not. Where else has it come from those in the car business.

I don't think anybody would say the issue with the black screen never happened. You can bet like the Nvidia stutter bug on the gtx680 thread that they never had it so it did not happen lol. I think most owners here of the 290x knew and admitted memory was at fault if pushed or at stock for the unlucky.

Not sure that the blackscreen issue was reported by journalists, maybe it didn't happen?
Maybe AMD have bribed all the journalists to cover up their issues and make up Nvidia ones.
I mean, I have no proof, but we're past that right?

It's obvious to me that some sites had under performing 290x's along with some that never as throttling happened. Amd's fault tbh and most likely hurt there performance in some review. The main person to get hurt by that cooler was amd itself.

It might not be proven but how many people get away with murder. They are not stupid and would not partake if it could be easily proven. Seriously people need to stop being naive. I am not saying they did do it but could they most likely. This is not black and white.
