^ pretty much your only option for that price, you could change the case depending on your personal preference ofc.

Yea...I had a go to try the fit the budget but pretty much got the same components as you, but case could get this instead of getting the Antec 300 to save £10:

And then should get a low price but decent (enough for dual-core) CPU cooler:

and some MX-3:

Think that would goes from the total of £562 to £575.

+1 on the zalman z7. I bought it last week and its a beaut. Really nice temps (obviously due to the ice cold blue LEDs) and looks sexy.

You really should get the Arctic Cooling MX-3 Thermal Compound to use with that CPU cooler. It's can potentially lower the CPU temperature by 10-15C than the generic Thermal Compound used on the CPU cooler. With lower temperature, it will give you more overclocking headroom.

Also, any particular reason for choosing that D:eek:ll monitor? Pretty sure there are better monitors for that price...or even cheaper.
You can get a 24" BenQ monitor for £142:

That cooler comes with pre-applied MX-2 (see product page) so I don't think 10-15 degrees is going to happen. However, getting a tube of MX-3 makes sense as it is invaluable if he ever needs to reseat his heatsink and 1 tube lasts for ages for a very small cost.

+1 for the BenQ monitor. It costs £10 less, is 2" bigger and is generally a nice bit of kit.

Ah didn't realise that. I thought it's the same as the old Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro...which I am pretty sure is with just generic thermal compound. Personally speaking though, I don't like pre-applied paste too much, as it is using the 'spread' method, which is commonly known to trap air-bubbles...
