Gaming Build (have some parts) advice needed.

also before i finally decide lol

I have noticed a few threads recommend the following power supply due to it been quiet, whats your thoughts on swapping?

If you're the impatient type, then you should at least get the board linked above (the Z68AP-D3) and stick with the 6850.

You can then upgrade the GPU (or add another one) in future when new stuff comes along, best of both worlds

EDIT: Yeah that is also a decent PSU, as is the OCZ, the BeQuiet one is nice and quiet, so yeah If you want less noise, that is a good choice.

£90 for a 6850 is not price inflated imo.

Nor is £125 for a 6870 which is really not far off 5870 performance (which still sell for £100 2nd hand)

Personally, I would get a 6870. You can always wait whether it is for a new product or for a new product to reduce the price of another product....just get the GPU and play !

Sorry maybe should have worded that better, I was referring to the Nvidia GTX 5** and ATI 7*** cards being a bit inflated, as someone mentioned the upcoming 7870.

They seem to be a bit mad in price, but maybe it's just me. The prices for the 6850/70 are pretty reasonable, just depends if you want lower cost or more performance, both are decent cards.

Probably put it towards a better graphics card, wouldnt see the 2100 being a bottleneck for games with a 6850 I don't think.
