Sorry didn't read the whole thread. I would go for what ever is the most comfortable height etc and buy a decent mouse pad, i love my razer exact mat

I have one and yes it is cold on the arms. What I have done is put the razer gaming mat on top and put my arms on that.

er, i saw 1 on ebay the other day for around £250 i think there are a few slighly different ones that turn up now n again. not many. i havent looked enough to find them outside ebay. Maybe find them at a antiques shop or something like that.
