Would also be cool to know if you can switch the drawer to either side on the Jonas. Cheers.
I got a 2m bench from ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50103604 and some legs which cost about £35 in total. Brilliant. Room for everything! I also got some cheap sets of drawers to go under each side and I've got myself room for everything I could need.
. Current desk is 70cm and I'd like moar! How do people find keyboard pull out jobby-dooder solutions? I'm sure I've seen pics of people's desks on these forums where they have a pull-out but the mouse/keyboard is sat on the desk anyway...What's the oak jonas desk like? Is it quite dark, light or natural? Does it look "rustic" and "antique-y"? I need a desk and that jonas desk looks perfect, so simple, but it needs to match the rest of the front room, colour-wise at least.
The Jonas desk, can you change what side the drawers are on?

if your looking for a sturdy desk and with the original budget of up to £300, and are looking for a little extra style, i think a Georgian style desk like the one below could work a treat. great stability, plenty of space and the comfort of the leather top, you could feel hte ruler of all gaming. Downsides are its not a style that would suit all and with ikea's price competition thats £200 you could spend on better hardware. its something im gunna look into more over the summer.
