2)Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CAS8 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered.

3)Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache

4)Sapphire RADEON HD 4870-1GB-GDDR5 SDRAM

5)Corsair hx 650w

6)Antec P190 Case

Yes, the 760 is the superior card, but only just, and it costs quite a bit more for a card with a non-reference cooler, too.

If I was in the OP's shoes, I think I'd rather stump up very slightly more for the reference GTX770 (if he's already set on the GTX760). Providing he isn't very sensitive to noise, this will be a decent option. If, however, he wanted to save a fair chunk of cash and achieve about the same level of performance as the 760, then I think the 270x would be the better buy (approx 7950 non-boost fps for 150 notes + overclocking to boot).

So if I decided to go for the GTX 770 which is the better brand, Come in to a little bit more money. I was looking at the Asus version. And is Nvidia better than AMD these days.
