Gaming ITX System?

Hi all,

I'm looking to build myself a mini-ITX system I can game one and I'm struggling with the case as the starting point.

I'm not dead set on any particular hardware but was hoping to be able to use a liquid cooler like the Corsair H80i or H100i (depending on space) and I have an AMD 7850 I'd like to re-use for now.

I want a case that is functional and nice looking (I know that's very subjective) but I liked the look of the BitFenix Phenom but having read the reviews it doesn't do too great with regards to cooling. Something simple and clean looking.

I was thinking of one of the cases from Silverstone such as the SG06 but the front airflow looks blocked too so maybe the SG05 as an alternative as it has a mesh front.

Just wanted to see if anyone here had built a small gaming PC and if they had recommendations or advice?

Thanks.

What about the prodigy?

Thanks, it's definitely an option, the amount of space inside would make overall cooling easier and could fit a big all in one liquid cooler I believe.

I would prefer something smaller though if I'm honest, with the handles and the 5.25 bay (not required) it looks like a bigger case than I'd really like sitting on my desk or is this really as small as I can go based on my requirements?

I have a Bitfenix Prodigy and it's alright but like you said, for an ITX system it's a bit on the large side. What about the Corsair Air 240 or the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX?

I would say that Phanteks is the prime choice for ITX builds these days.
Either that or Corsair 250D, if you are not hyped about having a side-window.

Cheers guys, the Corsair 240 and 250D both look pretty nice, I like the style and cooling shouldn't be an issue, I'll investigate a bit further and read a few more reviews.

The Enthoo seems to get a lot of recommendations, I didn't like the look of it in the photos I'd seen previously but ticks a lot of other boxes.
