Hi All

In search of a new gaming "Gear" setup and not sure what to go with??

Looking for a new...
Mouse
Keyboard
Gaming Surface

Want to start getting serious about gaming and move away from my Freebie Mousemate, Cheap Blk Keyboard that came with my system, Ms Intellimouse !!!

Also maybe a headset?

No Budget so anything goes :)

Please help!

G19 Keyboard or a G15 if you are more of a budget.
G9 Mouse is sweet if you got some cash to splash, but the G5 is on offer at the moment so I would get it while its nice and cheap as it is a lovely gaming piece :)

Edit: Sorry for the Logitec-orientated-ness of it! There's a few Microsoft pieces of 'Gear' that aren't too shabby, but personally I don't like Microsoft, so I would stick with Logitec/Razer
MX518 Logitec some more because its a great mouse too!

Oh and if your going for Joysticks the Force3D is only £40ish, so a great bargain, I got my Extreme3D a few years ago now and is still great, so if you want to save a tenner go for that instead, but the force is really tidy piece of kit if you like some light Air Sim.

ive never been a fan of gaming keyboards. they just seem...unnecessary. get a decent mouse though by all means. They (mice) are all much of a muchness at the top, but i do love my G9 and my mx518, you cant go wrong with either. althought he rubber coating on my g9 ha salmost completely worn off.

as money is no object the best mouse/keyboard on the market for a long time is:
Raptor gaming M3 -i am using the slightly older M2 and its the best mouse ive ever used.- just the right weight (adjustable) comfertable to hold for long periods and quick and percise.
Raptor gaming K1 keyboard - i very nearly bought one of these but couldnt justify £100+ price tag for one so opted for the G15 instead, but if money is no object this is by far the best keyboard around.

My gaming set up atm is a Logitech Illuminated keyboard, a Logitech G9 mouse and a Razor eXactMat (inc. wrist rest), and I have to say it all works perfectly for me!

I wouldn't swap any of them for anything else I've seen :)

i use a roccat kone (broken wheel v1 type atm) and a microsoft curve keyboard.

like it was previously mentioned, keyboards aren't going to make a massive difference to your gaming ability but a good mouse will.
